Taylor and I had a great trip! We got back to Seldovia yesterday, and we are both so tired. We had the most amazing weather, and I got to see so many of my friends, including my childhood bestie, Kerri. We went to Disneyland and got to ride on all the best rides. I had the most terrible internet for the entire trip, at the hotel as well as my Moms house. I will try to catch you up on some of our favorite photos.
CHA was fun as always. We took classes starting on Saturday, most were pretty good. We took lots of altered album classes this time, and a few jewelry classes too.
As we were waiting for the doors to open the first day of the show, there was a flash mob just a few feet away from us. It was hard to see, so we hopped on the escalator for a better view.
Once the doors opened, Cindy always wants to see Teresa Collins Make and Take first thing.
I like this new line from TC, loving the yellow right now!
We stopped by We R Memory Keepers, because they always seem to introduce a few new "pink" tools every year.
They had 3 of my favorite new things.
1. This fabulous scalloped cutting mat. It's magnetic. I know, right? So cool! So the ruler is magnetic too and it makes it super easy to cut straight lines. Love!
2. These cool heart shaped ink pads. Can't remember what they were called.
So you can stick your fingers through the top, and it makes for much easier inking, with less mess.
And since I normally use Cat Eyes, this gives you a bigger ink pad.
And number 3!!
The Lucky 8 Punch!
I used it to make this card. It punches 12x12 paper, and it's electric! Super easy to use, and it does two different punches, an inside cut and an outside cut. They debuted these at the last show, but have not released them to retailers yet. But they are ready to ship now, so I will be snagging a few of them.
OK, I must run to work, I will stop back by later today. Have a good one!
