So, my husband had to go into work today. I get a call just as I am heading out and he tells me to be careful on the freeway, there are police all over. My comment..."And?" And I got pulled over, he said.
He was speeding,
in a construction zone,
talking on his phone,
and not wearing a seatbelt.
So what happened to him, you may be wondering??
He got off with a dang warning!! If it were me, I would have ended up in jail! This happens to him in every situation he gets himself into. He's apparently doing something right!
OK, I spent the day at Tumwater High School, cropping with my two favorite girls, Cindy and Richele.
I just love getting together with them, it doesn't happen often enough. I was also really excited to meet Miss Barbara McCarthy! Barbara participates in most of our weekly challenges, and it was great meeting her and her daughter. I also got to chat with lots of my old friends. I was thrilled to see my old friend, Terry. She recently moved back to Washington from Oregon, and this was the first time that I got to see her. I spent the first few hours just talking with everyone, then I got down to business. I finished one of the upcoming Class Kits, finished the next challenge and got a good start on another challenge. I'm heading to California this week, so I'm trying to get a jump on some of my projects. Anyway, I had a great day.
When I got home, Shad wanted to take me to dinner. So we ventured into Centralia. We usually got to a Mexican restaurant there, but I was craving Chinese food, so we tried a new place. OMG...The portions were ginormeous!! When I was done, it didn't look like I'd eaten anything. It took two To-Go containers just for my left overs!! Crazy! We could have fed the entire family on just our two plates. My tummy is so full...must go to bed.

It was great seeing you today. I did a make- n-take with you a few years ago at this same crop.
You have to share the name of the Chinese Restaurant - please!!

My DH is the same way. When we were living in SF he went down to the brand new ball park and someone gave him a ticket to the sold out game. He wins things and is generally in the right place at the right time--me...not so much lol!

Don't you love finding a resturant that you can have dinner and lunch the next day for the price of one meal??!!
We have a Thai resturant in Fife that gives large portions and we always have enough left overs for lunch the next day!! Love it!
We also found a resturand in Federal Way, Black Bear I think it is called, (we eat out every Saturday.. it's may day off.. heheh) Anyhow, They have HUGE portions as well and it is homestyle cooking. Very good. The kids meal is enough for an adult.. crazy portions. And a really family friendly enviroment.
Anyhow, I will stop gabbing now.. hehe
Have a great week!!

I totally agree with you about the Panda Inn, you can easily feed 2 people from one plate. It's a crazy amount of food and it's delicious too. I had a nice time with you yesterday, I'm looking forward to seeing that new kit tomorrow. Yipeee. Line up ladies!!
