We all have some sort of Traditions that we pass down to our children. Whether it's that favorite old family recipe that you serve on Christmas Eve, or putting the kids in their Sunday best to go see the Santa at the Mall. Traditions make up who we are, and who our Families are.
The one tradition that I most remember from my childhood was going to get the Christmas tree. Growing up in Oregon, you didn't go to a lot to get your tree, you went out and cut it down yourself. There weren't Tree Farms around there, we went up to the woods to get our tree! We put on all our snow gear, packed some food, and lots of hot chocolate, and set out to find the perfect tree. It always seemed like we walked for miles before my Mom would make her decision on what tree she wanted. I always got to get my own tree for my room, that was my favorite part. That's something I'll always remember, that was our Family Tradition. What's yours?
Our Design Team shared some of their favorite Holiday Traditions with us this week.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday Season with their families. If you'd like to share one of your Holiday Traditions with us, e-mail them to Tiffany@ScrapTiffany.com.
